Saudi tourist eVisa: who is eligible, and how to get it for Umrah
The tourist eVisa is Saudi Arabia's electronic visa, applied for online by nationalities on the official list and by some residents. It allows Umrah, outside the seasonal closure period, with a permit booked in the official app.

- The 68 countries on the official online eVisa list. Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco, among others, are not on it.
- Through residence
- Gulf residents, permanent residents of the European Union, the UK or the US, holders of a used US, UK or Schengen visa, with the document that proves it.
- Validity
- One year, multiple entry, with stays of up to 90 days. Check the wording printed on your visa.
- Passport
- Valid for at least 6 months on entry.
- For Umrah
- Possible all year round, except during the seasonal closure period. The Umrah permit is booked in the official app, with the visa.
- Hotel and transport
- Your choice: you book them yourself.
